6 Months

Hello Again. I slacked last week on posting some pictures, but I do have them and will post them soon.

This week has been kind of rough. I have been having some sugar problems. Doc says I am just producing more insulin than I should right now and in combination with my unhealthy Pop Tart breakfast (mmmm, brown sugar and cinnamon) it caused me to feel not so great. He said it should regulate itself out in a few months when my body will naturally produce less insulin. Until then, I'll lay off the sweets! I guess if this is the worst of it, it's not so bad. I also have been having a terrible time sleeping which results in extreme grumpiness!! -- sorry Brandon. Hudson seems to be doing just fine in there. He is moving around like it's his job and the Doc says his heart rate sounds great. He did say that my uterus is a little further up than he would think for 24 weeks, he said he'd guess me more at 28 weeks by the size!! He said maybe it will just be a bigger baby than he originally expected. Oh well, as long as he's healthy I really don't care. Doc says we'll keep an eye on everything and I go back in 2 weeks for another sugar test. I look like a heroin addict from all the times I have been stuck this week.

23 Weeks

Well, it's official.............. I no longer have a belly button. All that is left is a wrinkly hole where it used to be. Ahhhhhhhhhhh, I just keep getting sexier and sexier.

Brandon is really enjoying his new job and I am too since he comes home in a much better mood anymore. He stays pretty clean too, no more crawl spaces or attics!! The weekend was great. I volunteered at the Special Olympics on Saturday which is a great excuse to spend time with 3 of my favorite people: Mindy, Jodi, and Sherree!! Then on Sunday we were invited to a nice cookout at Bill & Jerry's home. These are the guys who own The Station (floral shop 0n wabash). Their landscaping was so nice!! It really got my head spinning and so I think we're doing yard work this weekend!!

Hudson is doing really well. He is an active little dude!! The 3d sonogram is set for July 31st. Dad and Jamie are coming to town for it and Mom asked off work too! I will have a DVD for the rest of you to look at. I love you all dearly, but I don't think everyone would fit in the exam room!! Hudson is going to have such a large, loving family!!

22 Weeks

Hello again!! Well it has been an eventful week!! I went to the Doc on Monday (have to go every 2 weeks now) he said my vitals were good and Hudson's heartbeat sounded good too. Monday evening Cousin Andy and his wife Nicole had their baby boy - Drew Elliot Wright!! A healthy 7lbs, 6 oz ( I think)!! Then Tuesday Cousin Seth and his wife Christi had their baby boy- Vaughn Tucker Scott!! A small, but healthy 5lb baby. Finally on Wednesday, Brandon was given a new position through the Union. He is now working for Evan and Ryan as a Commercial Apprentice. He is very excited and looking forward to learning new things!! I am so proud of him!! He begins school in August and will have to go for 4 years. I signed us up for birthing classes starting in August. I thought it was going to be a one night deal, but noooooo it is 6 weeks!!! -- oh, man I am not very excited about it. Isn't there like an online course or something? Well, the Special Olympics are this weekend and I will be helping out at the Bowling Center. Hopefully some weekend soon I can make it out to create a baby registry. 21 Weeks

Hmmm, I feel like this post will be boring compared to the last post!

Not too much going on right now. We enjoyed our 3 day weekend very much and spent some time working in the yard. It is not as easy to bend over and pull weeds as it used to be. It seems like some of these little everyday tasks are becoming harder. Even doing laundry is more of a chore now, as it is hard to fit my belly between our washer and the wall it faces (tight space anyway). I tire out a whole lot faster than normal as well. Other than that and the occasional mood swing (anger, not boo hoo) I feel pretty darn great!! I think we have decided on the first name of Hudson. We are still working on the middle name. This may change, but it has been pretty consistent for a while now. I think it is a very handsome name, different, but not too different. I just don't want my kid to be the 18th Joey (just for example) in his class and forever known as "Joey R." or "which Joey?". My luck, Hudson will move from number 60 on the top 100 names to number 5 by next year. Anyways.... I have to go to the Doctor every 2 weeks now so I will keep you posted on anything new. 5 Months, IT'S A BOY!!!

IT'S A BOY!!!!! A HEALTHY ONE TOO!!! DOC SAYS HE IS DEVELOPING VERY WELL AND WILL PROBABLY BE APPROX. A 7 1/2 POUNDER!! WE ARE SO HAPPY AND FEEL SO BLESSED TO HEAR HE'S HEALTHY. BRANDON COULD NOT STOP SMILING ON MONDAY, HE WAS SO THRILLED!! WE COUNTED HIS LITTLE FINGERS AND HIS LITTLE TOES--SO CUTE! NOW IT IS A COUNTDOWN TILL MY 3D ULTRASOUND IN 8 WEEKS. NOT MUCH ELSE TO REPORT, JUST GROWING AND EATING LIKE A PIG!! DOC SAID TO ENJOY THESE MONTHS WHILE THEY LAST. TODAY IS OUR 3 YEAR ANNIVERSARY SO HOPEFULLY WE CAN DO SOMETHING TO CELEBRATE TONIGHT! HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A GREAT 3 DAY WEEKEND. HERE ARE SOME PICS AND I WILL POST BELLY PICS SOON!!

19 Weeks

Can you believe it?? me either, half way through already!! 6 more days till we know B or G. We have had a lot of guesses, pretty much 50/50 which doesn't help me out. I wish I had a "feeling", but I really don't know. Not much to report health wise, just a growing belly. It can be painful at times, all the stretching going on. Uncomfortable in my clothes and CAN NOT get comfy at night. Sleeping is no longer my favorite hobby. I guess I will be well prepared for the sleepless nights coming my way. We had a very eventful weekend with our good friends Brad and Eliza getting married and mother's day events. It was very nice to see people I had not seen in a while, including Dad (M-paw)!! It was made very apparent that I, quote: "look pregnant". Here are some pics of us this weekend. I will post belly pics soon.

18 Weeks

Only 13 more days until we find out if it's a boy or a girl!!!!! I am just dying to know. The baby is moving around all the time now and I definitely look pregnant. I am feeling great besides some heartburn and sleepiness, but not much to complain about. We finished our patio project this weekend thanks to some helpers. I am really glad to have it marked off the list. Now we need to mulch and landscape a little better. We have a super busy weekend coming up, so if I miss any of you I do apologize!! Our good friends Brad and Eliza are getting married on Saturday and we are very excited to attend their reception. Brandon is glad he will have a designated driver, but I did tell him that when the DD is ready to leave he has to go : ). I have not found anything to wear for sure yet since I am in that in between maternity and regular clothes stage. I am sure I will figure it out!! Not really anything exciting to report.
